Dead Space 2

I recently purchased dead space 2 and installed it successfully and was able to play it the first time, however the next day it wouldn't open it would ask me for the serial number that came with the game i entered it and said "activation successful" but that's it it never opened the game after wards. I uninstalled it and installed it again but that didint fix the problem .... can any one help please?

You'll have to contact the company you bought the license off

Its ok i found a fix, however i don't know if it affects my computer in any way... by disabling windows management instrumentation (WMI) the issue went away but i don't know if its safe to keep that off, and i don't know if it affects my computer in any way.
