I bought a new system about a year ago and came to this site for a good build.

My question is I bought everything that was on the best list but not until recently I've noticed my PSU is only 500 watt and my GPU requires 550 minimum.

I was wondering if I should go buy a new PSU with more watts or if what I have is fine.

This is something you definitely need to take seriously. Although many would argue this point, it is better to have more than less wattage or you could be asking for problems. I would recommend getting a beefier psu and suggest modular, silver plus or higher and at least 700-800 watts continuous since your gpu is not the only component you are powering.

Sapphire R7 250 1Gb GDDR5
1600mhz 8Gb RAM

My configuration. Will a Corsair VS550 be good option as the PSU?
