Will the r9 270x run with:

Motherboard: GigaByte GA-H55M-S2H

CPU: Intel i3 540 3.07 GHz (4 cores)

Before you tell me that these parts are outdated AF, I know; the reason I'm asking is because In a few weeks I will be getting the AMD fx 6300 and a 80 dollar MOBO that I forgot the name of lol. But That will not be for a couple of weeks so I was wondering if the r9 270x will work for a couple of weeks with my current setup. What should I expect and will it damage anything? I'm using a Corsair HX620.

How long will it last and how bad will it be if compatible?

Yes, the parts are compatible and the system will last as long as you want them to. No worries. Just game on!

BTW, performance with the i3 and the R9 270X should actually be good, overall. What is your concern?

I was mainly worried about bottlenecking and such because of how outdated the processor and motherboard are. Then again, I guess the r9 270x is also pretty outdated? :p

Sorry for the bump btw, won't happen again!

Bottlenecking should be minimal (if at all). Enjoy.

Some small OEM case so it's expected. Hopefully gonna get my hands on a very cheap Mid tower if possible. Thanks for your help though.
