It's fine at stock speeds, but not if you want to overclock. Look for the Cooler Master 212 Evo. Make sure it will fit in your case too.

I would suggest getting a Hyper 212 EVO. Those stock coolers are crap. And since you are getting a 4770K, I believe you will overclock, which will probably mean you need to go water cooling like this Corsair H100i

Stock coolers are built to suit a variety of CPUs. i7's run hot due to speed and hyperthreading. So while the stock cooler will work, it'll be at the upper end of its limits. This means it'll be loud, like freight train loud. Any OC on a 4770k should be done with an aftermarket CPU cooler more capable of cooling than the CPU can put out heat. CoolerMaster Hyper212 EVO is good, and relatively cheap, for an air cooler. For liquid CLC's a Corsair h-80i or nzxt kraken x40 is good.

Either way, a good aftermarket cooler will be a lot better at cooling than stock, and much quieter. But, the stock will work.

stock cooler is borderline with even a Xeon. Evo 212 makes a HUGE difference.
