Okay so here's the deal, my Asus CG5290 I7 920 first gen 9gigs Asus Rampage ii Gene motherboard, older rig 6-7 years, I know....
I corrupted the BIOS with in-windows flashing/update utility, it had an older BIOS version 1401 or 1501/1601 etc forget exactly what one... well after the corruption it was of course Bricked on startup no video/No POST/No boot etc no matter what I tried to do...
I ordered a new BIOS chip from BIOSDEPOT off ebay it was/is newest version (1701) well apparently its not totally compatible or something else is amiss... BUT it finally did POST/boot up perfectly!!!! but now there's issues with internet/Ethernet adapter won't recognize it and driver will not install/Start tried deleting/reinstalling drivers/Windows/everything still not working but everything else works it seems... so this is weird and above my head/knowledge here.... forgot some other weird shit going on too Fans speeds CPU/case are off a bit/going faster than normal with this chip they don't slow down going full blast the whole time....
