Hello, i'm looking for pro help, I can't identify where each cable goes into the motherboard from the PSU and my case. It's frustrating because I'm reading the manual over and over for the past 3 hours, also looked for guides none are working Can someone give me some knowledge on this please, I'm taking my time. Been started this since 3pm now it's 8pm, so some help would be nice.

Solution
Well, for the PSU, you only need to connect the 24 pin connector near the RAM on the right side edge of the mobo and the 8 pin connector on the top left.

As for the case lights (HDD, status, etc), those go on the bottom right, which entirely depend on the case and mobo. This part is hard to provide any help without actually being there and seeing the plugs for myself.

Ok thanks, so what to do with the rest of those cables? Which go with my SSD and HDD, also optical drive? I wish I would've looked more into this before building, thought the manuals would've been more detailed.

The SSD, HDD, and optical drive power cables (their connectors look like this http://img2.owcnow.com/images/Items/sata/sata15pin.jpg) plug into the the drives. Then you have to plug the SATA cables (these guys http://forums.techguy.org/attachments/222184d1364351871/sata.jpg) from the drives into the motherboard.

Thanks for your help, but I'm just going to stop here. I may know software for a pc, but I don't know the hardware. Guess I'll just place this on the shelf, cause I'm making no progress. I'll stick to buying my computers made.

Yeah, I woke up this morning and started again things went alot smoother. But I would love to take it apart and start over. Is that possible? Reasoning is because I messed up a bit last night, but things are working. Except the case fans, so want to start over since I studied the cables a bit more.

Yeah, I got everything back in place. Can you help me out, I think it would be easier to know what cables I won't need so I can stop panicking when i have extra cables from my psu. I know the basic ones but what else am I skipping? I know it's hard to know if you don't see what i'm doing, but just from experience what cables you do use other then the basic ones?

Ok, got it. I just found the speaker cable in a plastic bag, do I plug that into the HD AUDIO socket? If so where does the audio cable from my Case goes?

[strike]I read it, the cables i'm talking about are the P+ Led and P- Led, and I think you know the rest of them. Most guides I've seen, their MB had them labeled, I may need to go back and read the manual again then.[/strike]

Found it in manual

Ok, got everything plugged, but do you know what these 2 cables are from my case?

If I'm not mistaken, the first one is probably for the front panel USB 2.0 ports (which you plug into the motherboard, numbers 25, 27, 28, 29 in the diagram in the manual).

The second one is probably the connector for the eSATA port that's also on the front panel and it goes into a SATA port on the motherboard.
