but if can the 780 would be the best choice since it has similar performance as a titan and can even perform better than the titan once overclocked

Okay, GTX 780 has higher performance rather than the GTX 770, right. But consider the prices. GTX 780 is around $500 up while the GTX 770 is $300-$400. If you can get make a SLI of GTX 770 with a price of $350 each (if there is), it will outstand the GTX 780. But since you are in budget mode, then go for the GTX 780.

there are good 780's which cost around $550 I would it's worth saving up and waiting coz it gives the same performance as a $1000 gpu...

I think there is already 780's in Newegg or Amazon. EVGA I think is a good Manufacturer or ASUS. the Ti version is also a good one but pricey. It would still depend on your budget, of course. Also, if you can still add up, get a water cooling system. It boosts up the cooling temperature.

Of course it is going to be the GTX 780 because you can get them for about ~480. If you wanted anyone to seriously consider the 770 is conversation, you should have posted the thread asking what the best price to performance gpu was in the 300- 500 dollar range. Then some real debating would have taken place.
