I am a newbie using MSI P6N SLI Platinum Mobo.
Recently my old NVidia graphics card developed some trouble
Can I use SAPPHIRE R7260x 2GB GDDR5 card with my old MotherBoard
Is there any quality difference between the same card beteen XFX, ASUS, GIGABYTE, and SAPPHIRE?.
Please Help.
Regards.

You would be able to install that card on your motherboard, but it might me a little bottlenkecked by its First generation PCI-E slot. Still, I think it will be fine.

About different brands, there is not much difference, the main difference is the cooler. In my opinion, the ASUS is a great card, but any of them are similar in most aspects. The Sapphire is probably great as well. Still, maybe you should wait for a second answer.

I bought the same card, and it did not work on my Pci-e 2 board. I think it relies on the power from Pci-e 3.0 slot, or that is what the guy at the store explained afterwards as it only uses one 6pin power as opposed to most other cards that uses 2. But I Googled and most people said it would work. Now I am back with my Nvidia 560, until I get a new motherboard.
