Hi, I'm looking to upgrade from my GTX 460 SLI to the GTX 760. However, my processor is the AMD 8150, overclocked from a stock 3.6ghz to 4.2ghz. I was wondering if I upgrade to the GTX 760 would my processor bottleneck this card?

The card that I'm planning to get: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX47640

Would there be a significant difference if I were to upgrade? How fast is the GTX 760 compared to my SLI's?

See : http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

The 460v2 benchmarks at about 2500. For SLI, you'd get about 1.6 to 1.8 x one card = say 3500.

The 760 benchmarks at about 5000. So the 760 should be about 50% stronger than 460s in SLI.

And that's not to mention the upgraded support for Dx, the matter of scaling that seems to plague sli in some games, and the noise difference between a single gpu with better cooling vrs dual gpus with an out-dated cooling solution.

your never going to get 100% scaling with sli460s but from a personal guess i think you would feel a difference. but would it be a considerable difference? im not too sure.

are you able to sell the 460s so that your not fronting out too much money?
