What graphics card should I upgrade to?

I currently have a 660ti graphics card, which I have had for close to 2 years now. I plan on upgrading in the summer and had the 770 in mind, which I would likely SLI when I had the money. Is it worth the upgrade from the 660ti to the 770? Will it make that large of a difference in gaming? Would swapping any other components of my rig make a huge impact on gaming performance? If so, what would you recommend?

System specs:
Intel i5 3570k OC'D 4.4ghz
Cooler Master Hyper 212 CPU Cooler
MSI 660ti PE
EVGA 550ti
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB RAM
Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 MOBO
Seasonic X-850 PSU
Rosewill Challenger USB3.0 case

How significant would the jump be? I noticed the amount of CUDA cores isn't that much higher, and I am not sure about the core and boost clock speeds. I honestly don't know what those values really mean, but is there a general way to tell by the specs of a card how good it is? Thanks.

Prior to updating VGA, I'd add an SSD. It is the best way to speed up gaming and non-gaming operations.

GTX 770's edge over 660 is not either slight or heavy, just in between the two. I'd wait 8xx cards to be out and get a 770 in 2015 end, when price should be lower.
