Hello,

So all of a sudden my unigine 4.0 score has dropped by around 250-300 points, for no apparent reason. All I did the past few days was update my USB 3.0 drivers, I didn't even touch gpu drivers.

Now instead of 1780 score in Unigine 4.0 my crossfire 280x are getting 1500. How can this be possible? There is no thermal throttling as neither reaches 70c. Also, CPU is not being throttled.

Is one of the cards failing or something? Running 14.3, maybe because it's beta?

Thanks!!!!!!

Post your build.

It's had problems crashing and not working but so far it doesn't seem as though anyone is complaining about getting variable results. Have you got the free version?

Maybe have a look through their forum - https://developer.unigine.com/forum/

Hey i7baby,

Fx8320 @ 4.6 Ghz
Gigabyte 990fx-a Revision 4
2x r9 280x Crossfire Stock 1020/1500
16GB Vengeance 1600

Just tried downgrading to 13.12 drivers and got 1650. Still, I used to get 1777. Scoring 65 FPS when I used to get 70, without changing anything. Something is up, I mean even the min fps and max fps are above the previous benches yet I get a lower score? WTF?

Did you find any clues in the unigine forum?

Nope! I don't even know what to search for? This unexplained 5-10 FPS drop is driving me insane. And heaven 4.0 is not consistent at all...I can run it once and get 1650 then run it again and get 1520. Same min/max fps, just different score...retarded.

I use Kombustor (Afterburner) and only have temps to worry about.

My guess is that, if you haven't changed anything, then they have. Maybe they've 'normalised' scores.
