So I have the PowerColor Radeon R9-290X PCS+. Its a fine card, but very loud. So after much research.. I buy the Prolimatech MK-26 and 2 Phanteks PH-F140TS fans.

Well, the best part of the setup is the fans..They are just about as quiet as my Noctua's

Temps..Idle temps are good..high 20's to low 30's..but during gaming.. with the GPU hitting 100% and 2 x 140mm fans hitting full speed... temps are creeping into 94c...

Now I dont hear my GPU fans over my system fans, they are spinning at 1160+ RPM
.. but I am not seeing any heat benefit. Also, I was planing on going Crossfire here soon, but that is totally out of the question with the MK-26.

So..Return the Prolimatech and go water? I dont mind the expense or hassle, I just know nothing about it.....always air..

Need a reliable site with review on water cooling items.. recommendations...??

Thanks

you should be getting better temps than that so i would try reseating the cooler. if you used a lot of paste first time round then use less and make sure you dont over tighten the screws that hold it onto the pcb.

as for water cooling there are a few options. http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2013/12/10/water-cooli... did a good article.
