The X79 build is great for video editing but overkill for just gaming. What do you want to use the pc for?

For gaming only and on just 1080p you could cut down on the spend considerably. Got to lga1150 cpu and mobo save $500. go to 8GB memory save $60. Just one 780ti save another $450. Gives you a spend of $1500 instead. But theo is just following what you said your budget is.

This build is more affordable and is best suited for a 1080p monitor. The other build I suggested is pretty good for professional video editing and can run some games decently at a 4K resolution.

The PC is for gaming and web browsing Iim not picky at all when it comes to buying stuff but when it comes to electronics I'm a strong believer in top of the line only with electronics the old saying stands you get what you pay for

I think you would be quite happy with this build. It's uber overkill for gaming and it beats the hell out of that $2800 build you posted. I think that's what you want. So there you go.

Well.. You do get what you pay for.. But one thing you need to understand is that you will probably never ever see much benefit from a 4930K in gaming. I'll show you why.

Don't spend hundreds more dollars just for 2 to 7 more fps. It's not worth it when you're already playing above 50fps. And this doesn't even take overclocking into account. And with patches and driver updates these games usually play even better.
