Unable to install GeForce Exp. OR Drivers (Help)

Hello, I'm unable to install drivers or geforce experience on my friend's computer. He just finished doing a clean format on his hard drives and a fresh install of windows 7. I've done the following:

-Download Geforce experience & apporpriate drivers (Installing gives a thing that says "no nvidia GPU detected" when there's a 560 Ti in the PCI slot & has power connected to it.)
-Boot into safe mode & try to install
-Make sure windows updates are up to date
Any suggestions? The GPU was working just fine before we re-installed Windows.

Does the 560ti work ok? Has the pc got integrated graphics? Does the pc boot? Can you get into bios and check the settings are still what you want? You can always do a reset in bios or remove wait then replace motherboard battery and see if that improves things.

In Control Panel, Device Manager, Display Adapters - does the card show up? Are the drivers up to date?

When you do a clean windows install you wipe the partition that it sits in. This partition also contains drivers by default. Including nVidia drivers.

So you probably need to go though all devices on Device Manager and make sure the drivers are up to date.

The 560 Ti does work, the PC does have integrated graphics (3770, with Intel 4000 Graphics), the Pc does boot but my friend is not exactly capable enough to look into the BIOS settings (I'm doing all of this from Team Viewer)
In device manager, within display adapters, only the integrated graphics appear & not the card, even though he has confirmed that the card is power on.
I've checked the devices in Device Manager and none show that they need to be updated.

he needs to double check that the card is fully in the pcie slot and locked in and that the power connectors are properly connected.

If all other drivers are showing and up to date then the gpu driver should be too. He can also try a different card and try the 560ti in a different pcie slot.
