I have three GTX 670s, 4gb.
They are connected to an Asrock X79 Extreme 11 mobo in this configuration.
1. GTX670
2. overflow
3. GTX670
4. overflow
5. SAS x8 card
6. SAS x8 card
7. GTX670
Obviously, I can connect the first two easily, but I want to triple SLI without sacrificing one of my two SASx8 cards.
I've found sites that show how to jerry-rig it with flexible cables but I need a 140mm cable to reach the bottom card to the top and the only one I can find is over $50. Yet, ASUS is selling a 4 way SLI card (that I believe will fit) at half the price.
Does anyone know if this will work?
