so i recently bought a new GPU for my build , and since i was a APU user before i dont have a GPU , and i left my 6 pin / 8 pin modular cables for my Thermaltake Smart SE 730W in my hometown ( Philippines ) and i am currently having a vacating for 3 months here in australia.

so i am planning to buy

1x Molex to 6pin

and 1x Molex to 8pin

to power up my graphics card :)

so will it work ? and is it alright ?

or can you guys recommend another way :)

thanks !

Does the PSU have a single 12v rail? If so, then you should be fine using them adaptors.

I just checked and it does have a single 12v rail, so you are fine :)

Basically, some PSUs have seperate 12v rails, so one connector might give 20amps and the other 20amps - lucky for you, yours delivers all its amps on one rail so powering it like this is fine.
