The GPU is a little on the warm side but it is not to hot i suggest if you are worried enough remove any over clocks and maybe turn up the fan speed on the GPU and maybe any case fans.
Same goes with the CPU it is a tad warm but if it is the standard cooler that is to be expected but that is in safe operating temperature so it should be fine.

I do have an aftermarket cooler: Zalman CNPS10X Optima
Should they be lower than what I was getting?
The read for the CPU going up to 65c was mainly little flickers but from what I could tell with CPUID they were mainly staying around 58c-60c with little flares every now and then to higher temps

yes that is fine if it is the 50's if it spikes into the 60's for a second their is no harm at all
