All of a sudden, I can't access anything Blizzard-related, including Battle,net, games including Starcraft 2 and Hearthstone, and even the Blizzard website. I think it may have something to do with my ISP that isn't working with Blizzard specifically. Other programs/websites work, and Battle.net was working at another house.

It changes the dns from your isp's dns (or the one they use) to google's public dns.
This mean you usually get less latency when browsing and your ISP can't ban sites you can visit through DNS bans. -what turkey was doing to twitter.
