Hi. I am building a budget pc and I have all my parts ready. However, I can't decide whether to go with the FX 6300 or pay a bit more and just get the FX 6350. I plan to overclock the CPU a bit so can somebody tell me which CPU is better for overclocking? Thank you in advance.

FX-6350 is not worth the money try to get at least FX-8320 or if you can't get 8320 get 6300.

The FX-6300 and 6350 are probably going to reach the same clocks when overclocked (on average - overclocking is a lottery). The 6350 is just faster at stock.

They are the same chips, just with different stock speeds. You may get a higher clock on the 6350 just because it's a higher bin, but it's not worth it, it's better to get an 8320, which is an 8350 with a lower clock. So get the 6300 or spend more and get the 8320.
