I recently had to do a full reset to my practically brand new computer, I built it literally 6 days ago, and now I can't install my graphics driver without the screen turning a greenish black color. Any idea what the problem is?
I have a MSI R9 270x

I'm on windows 8.1, sorry I forgot to mention that, and I couldn't get to "Desktop Window Manager Session Manager" to do that. Any other possible solutions?

Is it possible to forcibly switch off the integrated graphics solution in your MB BIOS?
I don't have much experience in Windows PC's in last few years, but usually AMD driver by default is configured to try to switch to the integrated graphics solution when not under load /for energy preservation reasons maybe/. As much as I know you can't explicitly change that by the driver, you may only force it to always work in high performance mode - and that's only after you access the Control Center.

I'm not sure about that, but I tried to install it again and it seems to be messing up while it's installing the AMD display driver.
