hi guys im asking this for a friend ..he just bought this for £250 as the seller(ebay) said it was a ''monster pc'' ..can i run it suggests otherwise and so did i ..any ideas of upgrading

Ouch, you would need pretty much an entire gaming rig update IMO.

You could try to get away with just upgrading the GPU but then you would be held back by the cpu and the ram. DDR2 is also expensive since DDR3 has been around for a few years. Not sure what the power supply is but it is probably in need of replacement. If you wanted a CPU upgrade you would need a new motherboard. Pretty much the only (maybe) reusable parts are the optical drives, harddrives, and monitor.
