Hi,
I just bought a new 500W EVGA power supply unit, which works fine to upgrade the graphics card. The Graphics card is a GeForce GT 640. My computer is also a HP.
Computer Specs:
Motherboard:Joshua-H610uATX
Processor: Intel Core i3-3240 @ 3.40GHz

Yes that graphics card should be compatible. It's not whether it'll fit on the mother, it comes down to if it fits in the case.

Right, I tried putting it in. And it fits, space is fine, and the Fan runs. BUT!
When I turn on the power, I plug my Monitor cable into the correct slot, turn on the power, the fans run..but the monitor says there is no signal.

Um, well. Double check the cable is plugged into the right space on the monitor, and the connection is secure. With my GT 610, I had a problem like that.
