Today, my 24" Envision G416 LCD Monitor buzzed for a little while, then reset. As soon as it turned itself back on, it turned itself back off again, so I shut the monitor off.
The buzzing/oscillating sound from the back of the screen has been happening only for a very short time right when I turn the monitor on. This went on for a few weeks till its demise today.
There was one more symptom. For the past few weeks, when the monitor is in stand-by mode, there's this really high pitched, but somewhat subtle, repeating noise that sounds like an alarm going off, or like a signal repeating.
Any idea what component might have gone out in the monitor and how expensive it is to fix?
