I have a DDR3 motherboard and I ordered some WINTEC DDR3 1333MHz REG ECC RAM. I'm getting the old 3 beebs, stop, 3 beebs, stop, and so on. Is this RAM incompatible, or is the motherboard or RAM defective?

Solution
What mobo, if it's a regular PC type mobo it probably doesn't support ECC registered DRAM, ECC is normally used more in server mobos than PC type mobos

Also, if you needed to know, this is the motherboard I have:

Intel DH61HO LGA-1155 H61 Express Chipset Desktop

EDIT: This is a build PC. There is no software installed currently (going to be a hackintosh). The maximum RAM for 32-bit is 3.5 GB. Do I need to get a 2GB stick, install the software, than install more?
