Intel i7 extreme 975 temperatures

I recently installed an H110 cpu cooler from corsair and I'm a little concerned with the temperatures I'm getting. I have a Intel i7 extreme 975 OC to 4.4 Ghz and the voltage is at 1.50. At idle it sits at around 40-43C and 80-84C while running prime. Is something wrong with my H110 or is it because my voltage is too high? Btw my voltage is so high because that's what my cpu is stable at when it's OC to 4.4 Ghz.

From what i read you are good with the temps for being that high. But watch them carefully.

I read that the 1.50volts is the max for this cpu and some people are reporting that the temp goes from 80c to 85c this is normal for overclock gaming.

I think its pretty high as well but that's the voltage my i7 975 is stable at when at 4.4 Ghz. Should I lower the OC then so I wont get as high temps? And I checked to see if it was seated correctly and firmly and it is.

Okay but is it normal for the H110 to be putting out such high temps or is it mostly because of my voltage?

The H110 is a water cooling device for the GPU right if so then check all your pipes and check to see how high the pipe is or is it sitting next to a fan the cooling unit.

A high temp for a water cooling part does not sound right.

Add all so there could be air in the pipes as well this could all so cause the liquid not to move and burn out gpu.

I would recommend on rechecking every little part for a flaw.

I checked the H110 before installing it and at least from the outside it didn't "seem" to have a flaw. I also installed the H110 exactly how the manual told me to install it and I ran into no issue's while doing so, so the only thing I could think of is that I might need to RMA it? Or should I try buying thermal paste and reapplying it to see if that makes a difference?
