I'm thinking about getting the HD-7870 but I'm afraid my Mobo's PCI-E 2.0 will nulify, at least, some of its performance. What do you think?

Thank you very much! :)

No. There will be very little to no performance loss. The 7870 is not fast enough to be bottlenecked by the pci-e 2.0 bus.
