hi all, i just turned my pc back on after several days, and after going into steam all the games i had installed on my d drive are uninstalled, they are still on the drive but it doesn't let me just add the folder! what can i try?
Did a friend or someone you know log into their steam profile on your computer? Make sure it is your steam profile logged in.
no, all the games are still in the library are still there but grayed out, and i can't add the drive back into the steam library because it says it already exists!
Try reinstalling steam on the same folder (backup the game folder's if you can).
i'm sorry what do you mean? i have steam itself on my ssd which works fine, the games are on an hdd, do i just delete the folder that says steam on the hdd?

No, reinstall steam on the same folder the steam files are.
yeah if you have your games on your HDD then there's not much reason to install Steam on your SSD, it's not like Steam itself will benefit from being installed on an SSD
so it wouldn't let me do anything so i deleted the steam and steam related files on the hdd, now im downloading them back into steam again. it seems like it's fine but will take time.
