I bought Crucial Ballistix tactical tracers 8gb stick 1600Mhz as an upgrade
and when i poped it in my pc went blue. (at windows logo)
Been at it for a while now. I tried switching socets, switching to lower frequency, trying with different stics. nope nothing.

Also put it into another pc and it worked flawlessly

I asume the thing is that my mobo is supporting 1333 mhz but ram should work with no problems at slower speeds to my knowlage

Also checed from crucial homepage if the mobo supports that ram and it tells it should...

Maybe the problem is windows wise but i fail to see it (havent tried a different hdd yet)

Specs:

CPU: i3 530 2.9ghz
MOBO: ECS H55H-M
RAM: Patriot 4gb 1333mhz
GPU: GTX 760 2gb
PSU: Corsair CX750
OS: Win7 64x

Solution
I'm going by the specs, which indicates 8GB total which is usually a 2x4GB config, have run into BIOS's that see the DRAM but can't use it - Do you have the latest BIOS?
