I ran 3Dmark with my new(ish) rig, and scored a 5620 on Firestrike 1.1 most of the other similar rigs (cpu/gpu) were scoring over 7000. It said my ddr3 1600 ram is running at 667 mhz as well. Any suggestions?

Windforce gtx 770
intel i5 4570
8gig corsair ddr3 1600
Asrock h87

Well for starters your RAM is running at 1333Mhz not 1600. The 667Mhz indicates that. Times it by 2, it will give you 1333Mhz.
You need to go into your bios and set your DRAM Freq to 800Mhz. This will dbl to 1600.
You have to do this sometimes with RAM. Tho a H87, which I have too should set it to said freq.

All systems behave differently, even with the same specs. Its mostly to do with how youve optimised your Rig.....

Fix your RAM and see what results you get. Then let us know what the score was.

I fear that the ram will not run stable at the full 1600 setting due to things I have read, so it is on auto (1333) until I learn more.

With a quick and easy CMOS flash, my firestrike is now nearly 7000!

Hmm, what model of RAM is that (actual PN#) and also which Asrock H87 board is it?
