Hey guys.

Im currently running an AMD FX-8350 on an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX r2.0, with 16GB of system memory. Im using Windows 8.1(64-bit) on an SDD.

For a graphics card, im using an MSI GTX 770(2GB/OC).

(I also have an ASUS Xonar DS 7.1 sound card.)

Ive run into an interesting problem playing Planetary Annihilation where I run out of graphics memory, and im torn between two options:

Pick up a second GTX 770(2GB/OC) next week($320), or wait a few weeks, sell my current GPU, and buy two of the 4GB version($430 ea.)

Thoughts?

What problems were you having with the game? I wouldnt go spend $300 based on a developer response.

Well, first off, I have to turn down the settings. That in itself is a loss.

It also decrease Graphic Memory usage by about 300 MB

Does the artifacting go away after turning down the settings though? If it doesnt its a bad card.

If it does, then you might be running out of VRAM. Though that is decently rare.

It does go away temporarily, until VRAM usage gets back up there.
