Hello All:

I just finished building my first custom PC and am running into an issue. If I used the DVI port on my video card it will work correctly but if I use the HDMI port I get nothing. I tried it with a TV and multiple monitors so it is not monitor. Is it possible for a card to work just fine but the HDMI port fail? I am able to play high end games, etc on it with no real issues. I want to get some feed back before I RMA the thing. I do have the most recent drivers as well.

Thanks.

It is possible that the port is flawed I am presuming that you have tried it with only the HDMI cable plugged in.

Yes sir. What confuses me is the fact that the other ports all work and I can play graphic intensive games.

Yep looks like the HDMI port is dead if the monitor/TV was set on correct input.
