I'm looking for a full tower case to replace my mid-tower since my components are more cramped then I'd like them to be. The larger the case the better, and I need one that has really good airflow. I plan on doing quite a bit of overclocking but I'm going to stick with air-cooling so I'm going to need a case that has lots of potential room for fans (at least 7). There's a bunch of awesome full tower cases on the market and hopefully you guys can help me break it down and pick the perfect one.

its huge :) , i have a extended atx board in it and 3 way gigabyte 670's in sli , it will house everything no probs at all , not a huge amount of room behind mobo tray but cable management ok , HDD cages can be removed and are supported to hang on their own no probs and solidly,
as far as HDD bays you can have two hidden or 8 HDD's with the cages two sets of 3 in each cage and one set of two in another ,good solid cages and rails not cheap rubbish , i removed the middle cage so i have a cage with 3HDD's on top then a gap then two HDD's at bottom for full unimpeded airflow into my cards ,as far as fans they come with 2x230mm fans for front intake , 1x230mm fan top exhaust , 1x140mm rear exhaust , so many options to change and add fans if...
the corsair 950d is one big beast of a case and has plenty of airflow options for either air or liquid cooling. if you do not mind not having an internal optical drive the nzxt h440 is pretty decent for airflow as well. the silverstone rv03 has an interesting 90 degree design to promote stack effect (heat rises). the fractal xl r2 is a nice option as well since it is soundproofed while still retaining decent airflow. the phantom 820 isnt a bad case and offers some rather big 200mm fans however has fitiment issues for other branded fans.

my first choices would be the 950d or xl r2.

Hey everyone, thanks for the suggestions! I looked up all the cases suggested and the case that stood out the most to me would be the Thermaltake Core v71. What I really like about it is its flexibility and design. Almost everything is modular and it definitely has plenty of room for a bunch of fans. I did find the Corsair 900D case, and that one was pretty cool too. Is that the same as the 950D? I don't want to decide on anything yet because the perfect case for me could still be out there somewhere (lol), hopefully some more suggestions will file in in the next day or so. Thanks for all the help so far! :)

I actually have a few questions that you could answer for me. Firstly, I'm just curious of how spacious the interior actually is. It can be hard to tell with pictures. I'd just like to make sure it's big enough to house all my components and future upgrades. Say if I wanted to install 3 GTX 770 GPU's, and four 3.5 in. HDD's, would there still be plenty of room for cables to maneuver between them? Cable management is currently my cases number one flaw and it would be nice to avoid transferring that issue to another case. Also, do you know how many fans and drive bays come with it? Thank you so much for your help! =}

It's a great case and i don't regret the purchase , i also have HafX cases and build quality is comparable

Oh wow, it sounds great. The Thermaltake core v71 is probably my favorite right now and unless I find anything better, which seems unlikely due to its awesomeness, then I'll probably purchase itit ASAP. Thanks again for all your help! Hopefully I'll have a new case within the next week or so. =>

the thermaltake core v71 looks good to me as well.

the only think i would like to note is that mesh front cases will develop dust rings during use. the front panel on the 750d and other similar hidden fan models hides this (and the filter comes out easy for cleaning).

this is what the front will look like if you have any sort of dust issues in your house

lucky for me i have a front panel hiding that mess (and i clean the filter once in awhile as well... looks like its in need of cleaning again..
