Hello everyone! This will be my first time building a custom PC, and I would really appreciate some help picking the right parts for my needs.

Primary uses: Medium to Heavy Video Editing and Gaming (Battlfield 4, World of Warcraft)

This is what I have set up so far: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

Basically, I would like some suggestions as to what parts would be better than the ones I have already picked - or if I am going overboard with the parts or bottlenecking.

Thanks! Any insight is greatly appreciated.

As rolli said you can actually purchase that xeon 1230 v3 for a significant price drop. Just no overclocking but all of the i7 hyperthreaded goodness. Then you can drop down in motherboard and be done with it.

Thanks for the input so far guys! But can anyone give me some suggestions for lowering the price by around $200 and still keep similar performance? The reason is because I want to invest in a better monitor and my maximum budget is $1500. Thanks!
