I downloaded OpenVPN and OpenVPN-Certificate-Bundle and indeed it connects to something... My next step was to test it out at "http://whoer.net/extended" and to my surprise I saw my ISP information including my IP address as well as my physical location. Even though ipconfig says differently. This I was not expecting to say the least! I want to use µTorrent without being hassled by my ISP provider (I got one of those nasty letters in the mail). Long story short... I don't know if my IP address is being masked or not. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

znop

You can't just load openvpn and think that is all there is to it. You have to connect to some service provider. Almost all charge for the service. Be very careful of any that do not charge they tend to be scams. Also depending on which service you connect to some pass all traffic though the tunnel and other pass only certain types. You would have to read the sites information and see what option you have to change this.
