Is this pc good for gaming and editing?

No way on that monitor! Otherwise it is a good build. Get a minimum 22inch monitor or 21.5 inch for 1080p gaming it will come to your advantage in quality unlike the 20 inch HP which will give you max res of: 1600x900, whereas the 21.5 inch monitor will give you 1920x1080 res.

Also do you not need an aftermarket cooler for the CPU? Since obviously that is an OC build. May I suggest hyper 212 evo?

The hdd is in my toshiba laptop that i use currently. Win8 was already installed on the hhd when i got it, i didnt enter a code to activate it
