I want to buy this processor: AMD A8-3520M 1.6 GHz Quad-Core AM3520DDX43GX NOTEBOOK SOCKET FS1 ........

my motherboard is this one: DV7-6000 Motherboard AMD FS1 645386-001

I need to know if the processor will be 100% compatible w/ my motherboard.....my old mobo died, and I bought a new one, this is for my HP Pavilion 6165us notebook...thanks....smilyize

Hi,

Your stock processor which is A8-3500M has the same package with AMD A8-3520M. Thus, it is definitely compatible with your motherboard since both CPUs are both 722-pin organic lidless micro Pin Grid Array (UOL722) and Socket FS1.
