Could someone please help me out here. I need to know what form-factor this stock power supply is so that I can buy a new/better PSU for my computer. I don't want to buy one that won't fit in my case because my case is one of those pre-built computer cases you get when you buy from Best Buy.

acbel hba008-za1gt 350 <<< PSU Model

I would like to replace it with a modular power supply. (one without wires connected to the unit)

It looks like you can put any regular power supply into that computer, but what is the model of your computer to confirm?

i would suggest a midi tower with half of that money. can easily accommodate even 2xgpu. dont waste your money in a full tower except there is a particular reason.i recommend this Corsair 450D and review

Yeah I like that one a lot too. I just interested in the other ones for the huge fans. Does this one that you posted have removable filters? I love the design on it much easier to look at than the one I chose an the price is easier on the wallet as well.

I added that case to my inventory. You know of any others with similar design?

havent you read the review?it surely does have plenty. all removable some of them magnetic!
i really like corsair due to simple design rather than fancy colors and flashing led fans.

Given that it is an ASUS (who generally do things right) I would assume that the computer has a standard computer power supply that can be replaced with any standard power supply on the market.

Are you replacing to replace with a graphics card?

No sorry I didn't go over the review. I was just looking at the pictures. I guess I should have read some more but I'm busy at the moment. Thank You man it looks to be an excellent case.

Because I already have a EVGA GTX 750Ti Superclocked installed inside of it. That is why I want to upgrade the PSU. I heard some odd ticking noises while playing BF4 so I can tell it's definitely in need of a better PSU as I'm probably straining the stock one.

I want a modular one because I want it to be neat an not have any extra wires just dangling there aimlessly. Plus if I ever get around to building a computer from the ground up than I could use it with that build an it would already be decent.

Fair enough, logical enough reason for me. Modular ones are nice; I really wish I got a modular one of my 900W. Imagine those cables...

that gpu is very power efficient.even so a psu upgrade is recommended cause generic psu isnt to be trusted. EVGA500B is more than enough for your system.do you really insist on modular?anyway here is a modular one SeaSonic SSR-450RM for double the money though

Severely Edited: I did not read all of the replies that you received.
The power supplies that chris recommended would work well for you.

So I just need to get a top mounted ATX power supply? All of those have the exact same dimensions though? JW

And I would like a modular one but if that isn't possible than I guess it doesn't have to be modular. Either way my budget would be around $100-$200 an it needs to be at the very least something that will power a more beefier GPU like a 760, 770, 780ti because that's the cards I'm aiming for with my build once I move on from my current entry level computer.

That Seasonic PSU looks good. Nice an clean with the blue accent.

since you are aiming for a total upgrade later, better have a budget reliable psu for your current pc in order to keep it operational, even after getting your new pc.except you thing of selling it! anyway here is one that can run one 780ti installed on any pc plus o/c XFX XTR 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular

That one looks like it fits the bill perfectly at least for the build I hope to start soon. Though if it fits the one I have now least I can use it until than.

I'm looking at a case right now deciding rather or not I should add it to my parts list.

You could if you want, but that case is ridicously expensive IMO. A case is the part of a build that makes it your own, so I usually dont comment, but there are much better cases for the price that still maintain the flare of that one.
