hey everybody, i'm new here,
just wondering, i am thinking of buying a about a corsair cx600m semi modular power supply that seems great, in my current build i usually use around 350 watts (as i said above) but i am wondering if maybe i should get a 750w (i don't want to go any higher because of electricity costs),
thanks

Firstly, even a 1600W power supply will only draw 350W if your components demand 350W. Getting a bigger PSU is not going to result in higher power draw. However getting a bigger PSU than you need is a waste of money.
What's your build now, and what do you wish to upgrade in the future? We can suggest a good PSU for you.

Unless you have a bottom mounted PSU and case holes for wires, don't go for a modular/semi-modular PSU.

Why are you telling me that? That's exactly my point.
Getting a larger PSU than you need is a waste of money.
Best get a PSU that stays around the ~80% usage range at max load.
The garage example is just for the sake of argument.
Anyway, I don't want to discuss this, no new outcome will be from it.
