So I hear lots about Samsung being good and I need or want an SSD. Is PNY just as good or at least somewhat very close to Samsung? I would like to choose the 240-250gb version, of course first choice being the cheaper of the two.

Unless someone think it wiser to go with 120gb. How many games would that hold if I were putting titles such as Witcher 2, Watch Dogs, Metro Light etc.

Hi,

I think it would be wiser to pick PNY XLR8 since the specs have no big difference of both SSDs.

I would go with Samsung, they have a well known reliability, which ist more important then speed or price.

I think I will go with just getting a 500gb samsung evo ssd and not get the 1TB 7200 seagate + either of the above mentioned ssd. I pretty much only use my system for gaming with little to no music, video, or documents saved for my storage. Had a 500gb hdd in my laptop for 4 years and I have only used up 400gb.

If I have to cut budget some more on my PC build I will go with your recommendation and back to the 1TB.
