Is it worth getting water cooling purely because it's quiet?

Hi
My current system is
i5 3570k
ga b75m d3h
gtx 760 by asus
8gb ram
Fractal Design Core 100 case
I hope someone can answer my question.

Would it be better to upgrade the CPU cooling to watercooling to quieten it down? Or just get a quiet standard air fan?

I currently have just the stock cooler on my CPU. I cannot overclock as my motherboard doesn't support it, which is fine as I am happy with the speed I am getting, I don't do many CPU strenuous tasks so there isn't much need anyway.
My PC is positioned right under my desk just to my right and fact that it is on is quite noticeable.

I understand that when my GPU is under heavy load it is going to make the majority of the noise but I don't hear it because of the sound from my speakers and distractions from the game i'm playing. So I only really need it to be quite when I'm doing things like web browsing or coding etc.

Can anyone shed some insight on what to upgrade to?
Thanks

Any after market air cooler is quieter than the stock cooler.
As you cannot overclock I would recommend the arctic alpine 11 GT r2.
This is almost silent until you near flat out on the processor ,and shaves off a few degrees C. It is cheap, too. Under £10.

I have this on my haswell rig.

Contrary to popular belief, water cooling isn't necessarily quieter. You still have a fan(s) for the radiator and a pump for the coolant, both of which generate noise.

A quiet air cooler would be a more sensible choice. I have a Zalman CNPS8900 Quiet, which does a great job and hardly makes a sound, even at 100% load. The only downside is that I lose two RAM slots due to its width, but that's not a concern for me.
