I did read a lot of reviews and recommendations on this matter and this two chips but never found opinions on exact card models. This two cards are same price now in my area so i would like to know which of only this two card is better. I know 670 chip is better but my concern is cooling on 670 vs double coolers on 760.

More about : asus 760 dc2oc 2gd5 msi 670 pm2d2gd5

the cards are nearly identical. the 760 will run cooler and use less power, so that's my vote

So the GTX670 wins by 2-3FPS at those clocks.

The Asus GTX760 OP mentioned is clocked at 1006Mhz / 1072Mhz. Which will close that gap to non-existent.

Not to mention the MSI GTX670 the OP mentioned is clocked at 965MHz / 1045Mhz.

By the way, do not use videocardbench.net, infamously inaccurate.

But the point that we all are making is that HIGHER quality is more important than 3 FPS, which can be gained 5 fold on a quality card with a minor overclock.

Since the GTX760 is an aftermarket cooled card, I would DEFINITELY go for the GTX760, which is actually factory overclock.

At stock speed the GTX760 is 8% slower than the GTX670.
BUT!
Thanks to that Factory OC it would do just as well as the GTX670 and will be quieter and cooler while doing it.

Video benchmarking is OK as a guide. It says =/- 10% error.

But if OP wants games data, Anandtech supplied some.

Asus GTX760:

As Novuake says, these cards aren't using identical coolers. There's a 4% difference if comparing both cards (GTX670 slightly faster) however the Asus GTX760 is slightly faster if comparing a bit more overclocking and would be quieter.

*So basically let's just call them about EQUAL for processing but the Asus GTX760 would be quieter. It also has better components.

Benchmark (before overclocking further):

Picture of cards:
MSI GTX670: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N670GTXPM2D2GD5OC.html

Asus GTX760: https://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX760DC2OC2GD5/

It's not hard to imagine the reference, blower-style MSI fan getting pretty noisy.

No its not OK.

For example, the HD8990 and HD7990 is EXACTLY the same card, yet the HD8990 SOMEHOW rankes 300 points more?
It(and the GTX690) also is ranked lower than a GTX770. Since the HD7990 is 2 HD7970 / R9 280x and the GTX690 is 2 GTX680s / GTX 770. How the hell did that go wrong?

See why you need to avoid that site?

Some confusion...

*We are NOT comparing a GTX760 and GTX670 with the same cooler so please don't just post the number of processing units and say "look. that's better". We are comparing two SPECIFIC cards. The GTX670 has a reference cooler, won't clock as high as other 670's and will be much NOISIER than the GTX760 listed.

My benchmark is based on roughly TWENTY games averaged so it's quite accurate so keep all this in mind.

My conclusion basically states THIS:

a) Both cards are ROUGHLY EQUAL for performance, and
b) The GTX670 chosen would be much LOUDER due to the cooler used (especially if any further overclocking is done)
