Hello,
I'm trying to connect my computer to the tv, both relatively old. The computer has only VGA out, and the tv has only RCA (yellow, red, white) and s-video sockets. I connected to the computer a cable adapter from VGA to RCA (that can also adapt to s-video, but I don't have a s-video cable), and connected it to the yellow part of a RCA yellow-red-white cable. I connected the other side of the cable to the TV.
The tv acts as if nothing is connected, I tried all its RCA sockets but I get no image on any channel. Any advice, anyone? I don't care about sound at the moment, only video.

TV: Grundig Prima t 72-8300
Display adapter: Intel G41 Express Chipset

Thanks very much in advanced!

If your're using the vga-rca adaptor as described by the mickeyphoenix, your graphic card must have the feature to turn its vga port into tv output

do you know how I can check if this is enabled or disabled in my graphic card?
