I5 4440 stock cooler
8Gb of Ram at 1600mhz 4*2
1 case light
1 1TB HDD
CD drive
3 120mm case fans

Yes, for a single r9 290. If you are going to run crossfire, you will need at least 750w.

Yes, but only a good brand. Look to Seasonic for the best. Seasonic makes PSUs for XFX, some corsair, and some antec to name a few.

Make sure the one you want is "Haswell compliant", otherwise you will need to disable power saving "C" states.
