I have been gifted one of these and was looking to speed it up some, if possible. I've started another thread about the graphics, but wanted to ask about the RAM.
It has two slots, and each is filled with a 2GB DDR2 stick, so it has 4GB of RAM. That being said, some of the reviews I have read have said this is "unupgradeable," but I don't see why I couldn't put in two 4GB sticks, effectively doubling my memory. Granted, these articles are a few years old, but I don't see how it can be "unupgradeable." Did 4GB DDR2 sticks not exist until recently or am I missing some other limitation that would prevent me from upgrading the RAM?
