lowriderflow :
i switched from AMD to Nvidia last year b/c of the same reasons.
I spent more time fiddling/fixing/restoring drivers and rebooting after crashing games.. than actually playing games.
rule #1, never download AMD beta drivers.
I was always an nvidia guy, my first amd card was 3850, and i hated it soo much, i switched to 8800 gt and never looked back. its 6 years now, so i thought why not try an AMD 29 270x, because its cheaper and jus few fps lesser than 760 gtx, which is much more expensive.
I am not telling the card is bad, its the driver that sucks, i had to re install my OS, to stop it from BSOD. i am begning to regret after the Nvidia 337 beta drivers release, why i din cash out the extra, and stay headache or ego free.
