Hi! I currently have windows 8.1 operating system on my laptop. I would also like to install windows 7 on it simultaneously. Is it possible? How do i do it?

Solution
The only way to have two different operating system simultaneously is to us a virtual machine. I use VMWare Player to run Windows 7 and Ubuntu on my Windows 8.1 machine. I can run all three operating systems at the same time if I need to.

If you just want to be able to switch between the two then you can set up a dual-boot system. You can do a Google search on how to dual-boot Windows 8.1 and Windows 7.
If your Lappy has two HDD/SSD, then you can install WIN 7 on the other one. If it has the space for two then you can buy a HDD/SSD and can install WIN 7 on it. Unplug the drive with WIN 8, when installing WIN 7.

If you have only one HDD/SSD, then unfortunately you have to format the WIN 8 installation. When the drive is empty first install WIN 7 then WIN 8 on it.

Good luck.
