I've had what I think is a 23.5? inch monitor for about 5 years now and after building a rather high end PC I want to get a 25 or maybe 27 inch monitor for playing games like battlefield 4 or Skyrim in full HD mods and shaders. I was wondering How much of a toll it would put in my system if I ran the main monitor with games like skyrim/battlefield/wildstar and then just have the other monitor reserved for other basic tasks like internet browser/raidcall/skype etc. I would assume it wouldn't matter much, however I have a single graphics card with two video outputs which would be responsible for both monitors. My specs are:
MSi Lightning GTX 770 with 2 gb of VRAM
Intel i5 4670k factory clocked at 3.4 GHz
EVGA 650 gold power supply
ASRock z87 series killer motherboard
8gb DDR3 Ram

I have a cooler master hyper 212 evo and my processor usually doesn't go above ~45-50 celcius after playing Maxed out and heavily modded skyrim for a couple of hours.

I'm pretty sure My system would be able to handle this but I was also wondering exactly how I should set it up. (i.e. what cords to which monitor) although I assume any sound from any window on either monitor will play through my headphones, I wouldn't know because I've only ever had one monitor.

It will do fine since gaming is going on on just a single monitor, does not take much resources for the second monitor and its uses.
