6350 Water Cooling Benchmark Question

Hello,

I have an AMD FX 6350 and I just put it under a custom water cooling loop. I ran it for 1 hour on OCCT, and the CPUTIN chart that it made showed my system going all the way up to 58*C and leveling off. I thought that with a custom water cooling loop, I would see much cooler temperatures at full load. Does this sound right or should I begin troubleshooting my coolant loop?

Coolant Loop System Setup:
Swiftech Apogee HD water block
alphacool 50mm resevoir
EK 4.0 pump
3x120mm radiator
3x corsair SP120 High performance fans with stock resistors

I will probably wire up the fans without the resistors and see if I get any better performance.

I just looked at the graph again, and I noticed that the turbo core kicked in. It reached 4.2 GHz during the test.

@theadler, I wish I knew. I didn't benchmark it until I hooked up my water cooling. I may go back and put the old cooler on it just to find out.

@Randomhkkid, I understand that that is well below the 62* recommended thermal limit, however, I just feel like being 4* under that at full load is really not right. If there is an issue (like a water block contact or pump/flow issue), I want to be able to find it.
