Hello.

A few days ago, I built a new computer. I have the 4670K Haswell and I was wondering what is the safest level to overclock without taking the risk to screw up something. I believe the stock clock is 3.4? (I think..) Is it safe to go to 4 with no problems? Or should I go with 3.8?

Also, I have the Corsair H100i liquid cooler FYI.

I had that same motherboard with the same processor. It worked very well. Easily got to 4.3 GHz and that was with an air-cooler. Your motherboard should be fine. Just keep in mind that not every chip performs the same just as enemy1g mentioned above.

You have a good cooler. You could easily get 4 GHz, but it all depends on your chip. No two chips are the same, and your chip will OC different than other people's. The only way you'll ever find out how far you can go is if you do it yourself, or find someone that knows what they're doing to do it for you.
