I build my own simple computer and everything runs good inside (fans/cpu fan/usb ports) Except my keyboard and the bios menu doesn't pop up when I turn on the computer. I hear no beeps, but everything is running good. I have a 4 pin battery power input on my motherboard, but my battery has 8 pin so does that have to do anything with my problem? Do you think this will fix the problem "New ATX 4 Pin male to 8 Pin Female EPS Power Cable Adapter"? I also tried having the 8pin plug in the 4 pin battery power input by both sides going in one line. Like this -one side of my 8pin->|::|<-one side of my 8 pin. So the other left over sides which equals to 2 aren't used. Should I get an adapter or what do you recommend me do. This build is a low budget build for simple tasks and simple gaming.

-What I used to build it-
Battery: CORSAIR CMPSU-430CX Builder Series CX430 430W ATX12V V2.3/2.2/2.1 80 PLUS Bronze
Ram: Nanya 4GB 240PIN DDR3 1333MHz PC3-10600 memory non-ECC
CPU: AMD A-Series A10-6800K Accelerated Processor - 4.4/4.1 GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, Quad C
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM 3.5" Internal HDD
Motherboard: MSI A55M-E33 FM2 MATX MICRO-A

-Everything is plugged in good except the 4pin input to power up the mobo and my battery has a 8pin power is that the problem if so how can I resolve it without buying a new battery?

Solution
You call it a better. It as actually called a PSU. Please use this term to stop confusion.

The motherboard you listed only has a 4-pin CPU power connector. Your PSU is completely compatible. No adapters at all needed.
Your PSU has an 8-pin that splits into 2 4-pins. Just use one of these.
